This projects is aimed at identifying and offering immediate intervention to friends, families or colleagues severely impacted by the ongoing COVID pandemic and it resultant mental health issues, domestic abuse and isolation. This event will help provide communal training awareness on providing support to families and friends bereaved, provide coping mechanism skills and psychological path to recovery for those negatively impacted. This project will help address a looming social crisis in our homes, communities and neighbourhood if series of events are not targeted at people affected or at risk to mental health issues.
We want to provide support in helping people navigate this difficult season with good coping skills for themselves and also provide Mental first Aid to their immediate family members.
