Why the community needs usSince ACS was founded it has provided a safe environment for children, young people from all backgrounds to improve their educational attainment and mitigate the effects of poverty. The inclusion of parents in its work is key to its approach of maintaining a consistent partnership between school, parents and ACS staff
Our impact on the communityImprove literacy and numeracy skills of 70% of children identified of being at risk of exclusions through a supplementary education. Improved 85% achievement, attendance and behaviour.80% of parents developed new skills and understanding the need for engagement with school.
