Brackenwood Community Association are a Registered Charity (1182672) who run and manage your local community centre (The Highwood Building) based in the heart of North Leeds, which is run for the benefit of our local community.
Our Trustees/Management Committee is made up entirely of Volunteers.
Our mission is to provide affordable groups, activities and events for our local community, help to reduce isolation and bring our community together.
We run our own classes either with volunteers or by paying for instructors and/or sessional workers so that we can keep the prices low.
Our current classes include:
Adult Craft Classes
Garry's Fitness Camp
Karate (Children's classes)
Millie's Gang Lunch Club
Big Tots & Little Dots Playgroup
Tai Chi
Yoga (Gentle Hatha & Slow Vinyasa)
Zumba
We also organise special events at the community centre for our local community
