We have a great wealth of information between us all You can say how you feel nobody will judge you We are passionate in all what we do for the group We want our voices heard at present we are going from strength to strength we are small in numbers but we want to make a difference and we will Although we are affiliated to Rethink the national mental health charity we have to raise our own funds We meet once a month but support is always on hand by telephone & email

A support group gives so much to new members because they understand completely what each other is going through. Their knowledge and guidance is essential to the community. By raising the awareness of mental problems to the general public it is giving the local community information that could help and hopefully help them understand mental illness.

The group is very active and passionate in all that we do. Whenever we hold an event it gives us some sense of purpose. We have held many events over the years and created awareness in any way we can and have helped many people along the way. An example of this is when we took a play called "when time collapses" into schools and colleges in the Braintree area. Over 1,000 students saw the play in the 5 days. This helped the students understand what it is like living with mental illness
