Why the community needs us
CEED provides expert support and skills to community groups, youth projects and schools. A focus is on practical improvements - bringing under used or neglected open space into community use. CEED provides training and volunteering opportunities to allow residents to play a key role in environmental projects and learn a variety of skills including conservation, horticulture and woodcraft. CEED also delivers a range of activities to get people out and about enjoying the natural environment
Our impact on the community
Over 1000 volunteer work days per year, helping communities to create and use their green space. School holiday activities - encouraging outdoor play and exploration. CEED's projects include creating spaces for people to enjoy, to benefit wildlife or for food growing and to give people chance to enjoy nature. CEED provides support and skills as needed to develop and deliver projects.
