Since 2006 a group of volunteer professional counsellors have offered low cost therapy to low income communities. Supporting the treatment of persons suffering from depression, with rehabilitation and recreation provisions. Activities include one to one sessions, group activities including family therapy, healthy walks and excursions,and training programmes for clients and volunteers. We also offer mentoring and drop in services within the local communities giving easy access to users.
Why the community needs usOur aim is to reduce lonliness and isolation and find solutions to every day issues. We provide intervention programes for individuals and families to improve their well-being, rebuild their lives and achieve their dreams and goals. Individuals and families are supported with accessible confidential drop in services in community settings. Improve community cohesion with walks/trips with access to a counsellor. Mental health programmes to elivate common disorders such as depression and anxiety
