HDCF, founded in 2018, works to alleviate poverty, educate, and support youth in Huddersfield. We serve, empower and uplift.
Founded in 2018, HDCF began as a grassroots community organisation. It was founded on a vision to make Huddersfield a place where everyone prospers. The organisation registered as a CIO in 2025. We are working to relieve poverty, advance education, promote harmony, and support young people across our community in Huddersfield.
Serve. Empower. Uplift. - This is our impact in three words.
Serve – We begin by showing up for people where they are. Whether it’s a food parcel, a grant, or a warm meal, our frontline work ensures no one is left behind. Every act of service is delivered with dignity and purpose.
Empower - We create space for people to take control of their lives through mentoring, training, advocacy and tailored support, we help individuals move from crisis to stability. Empowerment is about equipping people with the tools to thrive, not just survive.
Uplift - As individuals grow, so does the community. Uplift is the long-term outcome: stronger families, confident youth, resilient futures.
Currently, we operate a soup kitchen, food bank, young leaders programme and various other youth activities.
