Hayle Park Nature Reserve Trust manages 60 acres of land in Maidstone, for the benefit of the public and wildlife.
CONSERVATION
Our primary aim to to promote and enhance the areas we manage as a haven for wildlife and as space for the local community to enjoy. Where possible, work on the reserves is carried out by volunteers and guided by specialist Management Plans.
EDUCATION
The trust is committed to educating people about the importance of conservation. We do this by information sharing, holding events and inviting schools to take part in projects. We have previously held Bat Walks, Small Mammal Surveys, Tree Planting Events, Dawn Chorus Walks, an Outdoor Puppet Show and Children's Nature Experience events. All of these have been open to the public for free.
