IKWRO Women’s Rights Organisation supports Middle Eastern, North African and Afghan women and girls in the UK to live free from violence and discrimination.
Why the community needs us
We provide free and confidential advice, advocacy, counselling, training and refuge to those facing domestic and “honour” based abuse, including harmful practices such forced or child marriage and female genital mutilation.
Our multilingual team offers specialist support in Arabic, Kurdish, Turkish, Dari, Pashto, Farsi, English, and French, helping women and girls stay safe, know their rights, and rebuild their lives.
Alongside frontline services, we campaign for change by raising awareness, influencing policy and ensuring that the voices of women and girls are heard.
Our vision is a world where all women and girls can live with freedom, dignity and equality.
