snvb Community Larders are a community larder network based in Towcester and Roade.
Our Larders offer a membership service that provides access to surplus groceries at discounted rates. We are open to EVERYONE but we are committed to getting food to those in our communities impacted by the increasing cost of living.
Why do I pay to use the Larder?
Over 90% of the food we supply is sourced from Fareshare. We pay for it, including the fruit and veg that we distribute for free with your shop. We can't choose what we receive; it's all about what is surplus. You will find fresh, chilled and frozen choices at the Larders. To supplement this provision, we also buy store cupboard items at full price from local supermarkets.
We also work with local businesses helping to keep food waste in our area as low as possible.
