The recent pandemic has reinforced our belief that young people should have unrestricted access to well organised sports activities. We want to remove all barriers to participation, which is why we charge no membership fees. It is totally free to join our rugby club.
This model is only sustainable thanks to our generous sponsors, grant providers and individual donations.
Situated in Burgess Park (Camberwell, Peckham, Bermondsey, Walworth) we are one of very few urban sports clubs that provide a traditional pathway between juniors and seniors. We engage with over 300 young people each week as part of our weekly training sessions and Community Schools Rugby Program. The essence of our activity is to support the community through rugby whilst empowering young people in developing life skills, on and off the pitch. We are a young and ambitious club who are focused on improving our community through rugby. If you are interested in helping in any capacity please contact chris@southwarktigers.com.
