Its all about asbestos! We raise awareness about the dangers of exposure ,give support to those living with illnesses related to asbestos exposure such as mesothelioma and are here for the families. We operate a telephone helpline, run support groups , organise patient and carer events, offer opportunities to have financial benefit advice, produce a quarterly news bulletin , support the services provided by specialist nurses set up information displays in communities and actively support carers
Why the community needs us
Prevent further ill-health through exposure to asbestos, enhance the quality of life of those living with asbestos illness, promote safer working practices, reduce social isolation.
Our impact on the community
Reduce the number of exposures to asbestos, improve diagnosis of asbestos related illness, increase the number of contacts with those living with an asbestos related illness.
