The individuals accessing our courses tell us that the benefits to them are great and have even referred to them as life changing! Participants enjoy the opportunity to gain qualifications while making new friends within a non-pressured and non-judgemental environment. Groups are filled with positivity, encouragement and professional support. Just building up the courage to attend on the first day can be a huge challenge for someone who has been lonely, living in isolation for years. Our impact on the community
This programme of support sees participants improve their health and well-being; gain confidence; and improve self-esteem. Once their time at ART is completed, unemployed participants often directly regain employment or start to look positively at the prospect of employment, perhaps through work experience, volunteering or further education.
Assist with charity collections and fundraising activities, ways to raise essential funds so we can continue to offer free courses for thise most in need. Volunteer support also welcomed to assist us with IT, Marketing and helping on courses.
