Only one-fifth of disabled people living in Sussex participate in sport or physical activity at least once a week. Yet around 60% would like to participate more, but for many different reasons are unable to. Active Sussex is a local charity dedicated to increasing opportunities for all to get involved in sport and physical activity.
Why the community needs usCan you help us to raise money so we can reach every person in Sussex and make sure they're given an equal chance to take part in sport or physical activity?
Our impact on the communityWe want to raise as much money as possible to ensure sport and physical activity is accessible for all! We'll be doing this by opening a grant scheme for clubs who are in desperate need to buy additional equipment, or potential Paralympians who need an extra grant to get them to an important qualifying competition. Sport can be a catalyst for change and everyone should be able to use it to reach their goals. Help us to make sport accessible for all!
