We are appealing to members of the public to support our volunteers' effort designed to provide valuable help to vulnerable adults who are over 70s. They locked up in their homes and cannot go out due to coronavirus and guidelines from Government.
Why the community needs usOur volunteers are overwhelmed as many vulnerable adults do need support during time in Birmingham and the Black Country. Vulnerable adults and hard-to-reach people are unable to get out. they are urgently in need of toilet paper, milk, food stuffs, electricity and gas pre-payment cards top up. Our volunteers are committed to make sacrifice and support these vulnerable adults.
Our impact on the communityMore than 75 vulnerable adults will get support from our volunteers. the support will consist of: helping with essential shopping (food, milk, toilet roll, African food, electricity and gas pre-payment cards or keys top up. Your support will help many people not to get contaminated by the coronavirus or contaminate others. Your support will also help beneficiaries not to get starve in their own homes.
We need volunteers to help us run the following activities: Homework club (twice per month); Youth football on Saturday, Befriending services with isolated families and writing bids.
