Providing day care services to elderly people living in the area around Twyford.

We are a registered charity whose aim is to promote and maintain independent living for elderly residents in and around the local community. We provide a stimulating, caring and active environment, offering companionship as well as respite for carers. We offer a range of services to our members, including our hair salon/barbers, on-site chiropody and a take home evening meal service.

Why the community needs us
We serve the community by providing a safe and friendly social club, where our friendly team offers a warm, caring and happy atmosphere. As well as a stimulating and active environment, we offer companionship as well as respite care. Your contributions really mean alot! No matter how big or small, every penny goes towards providing our not-for-profit Day Centre with the valuable resources to care for our local elderly residents.

We appeal for assistance in securing funds to acquire a new minibus, upgrade our kitchen facilities, and enhance our CCTV system for the safety of our members, staff, and day center. We express our gratitude to those who have initiated the fundraising effort by contributing over £7,600. However, we recognise that we have a significant distance to cover in reaching our goal.

Volunteers needed

We are looking for volunteer drivers. We need them to pick members up in the morning and then take them back home in the afternoon. Members do not live far from the centre, but they can't drive. We do refund drivers for mileage covered
