Age UK Burton provide a range of services with the aim to enhance and improve later life for older people in East Staffordshire. These services include a daily lunch club offered with transport available. A Home Support Service to enable older people to remain independent living in their own home. A Home Support Gardening Service, we know older people love their garden but struggle to maintain. An Information & Advice Service offered throughout the community.

We benefit our local older community and their families by providing them with the information and advice they need for them to make informed decisions. We encourage social interaction at our lunch clubs, day trips and holidays. Our team of Home Support workers can support older people in their homes to help them to remain living independently but a dedicated home support worker assisting them with their housework, preparing meals or taking them shopping.

Our daily lunch club is a vibrant and lively place and we like to call it a youth club for seniors! Our clients enjoy a freshly cooked traditional lunch with like-minded friends in the centre of town. We serve over 150 meals each week! We have over 160 clients for whom we provide support in their own homes with their dedicated home support worker. Our information and advice service has in the past 12 months helped older people in our community claim over £160,000 in benefits!
