We aim to promote the well-being of all older people in Calderdale and Kirklees, recognising their right to independence, fulfilment, dignity and choice. We want to help all older people love later life!

We run many services to help older people remain safe, independent and happy in their own homes including:- Companionship Centres and a Home from Hospital support service - Advice, information and advocacy - Befriending services - Health promotion - Shopmobility - Domestic Services (including Deep Cleans) - Handyperson Service - Trusted Traders Directory- Mobility and Living Aids- Insurance products

All our services aim to help older people make the most of later life and have many positive outcomes including:- our Companionshp Centres and befriending services stop older people becoming lonely or isolated- our information and advice services stop people falling into poverty by ensuring they are receiving the correct benefits - our health promotion activities help keep older people fit, healthy and aware of key health risks
