Age UK Milton Keynes is a local independent charity working with and for older people

Our mission is to make a real and positive difference to the wellbeing and quality of life of older people and their families in Milton Keynes. We provide services and support that enable people to live independently in their own homes for as long as they wish and are able. We also work to reduce the loneliness and isolation that affects many older people, which can dramatically impact their health and happiness.

Why the community needs us
At this critical time where the cost of living is so high and uncertain, the need for us to support older and vulnerable people is vital.

Our proven track record in supplying essential services such as befriending, information and advice, meal delivery, day clubs and other subsidised services, are known to make a positive difference to people's lives.

A recent quote from a client:

Funds you raise will help us to continue to deliver these types of services, reduce loneliness and isolation, helping people to maintain independence in their own homes whilst improving their standard of living and having a positive impact on their wellbeing.

Volunteers needed

If you have any spare time how about volunteering? This could be in the form of some regular hours in one of our lunch clubs or shops or you may want to help out from time to time at any events we put on.
