Ashton Gate Out of School Care (AGOSC) has been developed to provide care for children aged four to eleven years by providing wraparound childcare in the form of Breakfast Club, After School Club and Holiday Playscheme. It is the intention to offer care before and after every school day and for all of the school holidays and inset days.

AGOSC provides outstanding play opprtunities to children aged between 4 and 12 years in the local community. Our setting is safe, reliable and fun for children and allows parents/carers to work, study or seek employment. There is a shortage of childcare in South Bristol and we work hard to maximise our space to provide as many places as possible. Children who attend are offered a wide range of exciting and enjoyable experiences that meet their developmental needs.

Children feed back to us that while at AGOSC they; make new friends, try things for the first time, 'have a say' in what we do, enjoy the trips and workshops, like cooking, gardening, arts and sports. Our range of activities ensures that children develop their social skills, life skills, gross and fine motor skills and - most importantly - have fun! We have a child-centred ethos and consult with children regularly, this goves them a sense of ownership and responsibility over the setting.
