Alzheimers Dementia Support 'ADS' is a charity which offers constructive practical guidance and a wide range of services to help people in the local community whose lives are directly or indirectly affected by Dementia. We strive to make a difference by helping those affected cope better whilst giving them the opportunity to experience a little joy and laughter in their difficult lives.
Why the community needs us
Providing much needed support to the ever growing number of people with dementia and their carers. We run several drop in centres in the local community and days out for people with dementia to enable their carers to have a short respite from a very isolating illness. We also run lunch clubs, Alzheimer Cafes and social events. Our aim is to expand our services to meet the growing need.
Our impact on the community
We reach over 900 people in our community with our monthly newsletters which is full of information of our services and events.
