Anglia Care Trust (ACT) is a charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable people within the community. Our services give people the stability, support and challenge which is often required in order to enable them to realise their full potential. Based in Suffolk, ACT is able to deliver support services across the East of England. Our priorities are helping people to keep a roof over their heads, helping people to feel safe, helping people to be heard and supporting people with their health and wellbeing.

Why the community needs us
ACT has been operating throughout Suffolk since 1968 and now works across Norfolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire. We work with over 6,000 of the most vulnerable individuals each year. These individuals come from a wide range of personal backgrounds. Many have a range of issues, including: poverty, family breakdown, homelessness, offending and poor physical or mental health. We exist because we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to live in their community with support, dignity and purpose. We accomplish this through four core themes: Advice and Guidance, Community Safety, Housing Services and Health and Support.

Our impact on the community
ACT has a long history of delivering on the promises we make. In the last 3 years, we have supported 1,538 victims of domestic abuse, grown our accommodation services from 146 to 284 bed spaces and given our communities over 69,400 hours of voluntary support .
