Autism Angels is an amazing local charity offering vital support to children (2 years +), young people and families who are affected not only by Autism but also challenging behaviours, grief, identity concerns, domestic concerns, abuse victims and many others, in a wonderful countryside environment with horses and nature. Autism Angels specialises in working with families who have diverse or additional needs, in order to give them the opportunities to succeed and thrive in an environment which supports and enables their learning and development. At Autism Angels, we strive to balance the needs of the child with those of their siblings and parents. We understand that the role as a parent can be challenging and sometimes parents can feel lost, worn down and exhausted. Our hope is that we can provide families with a place where they feel welcomed and accepted, and find the support and guidance that they need to leave feeling refreshed and with the tools to lead the life they want.

We believe in creating a community where those who have once felt isolated, lost and alone can come together and find acceptance, friendship and love. We have seen so many families bond over the programmes and work that we do here and they go on to have days out together, holidays and even things as simple as sleepovers.
