Pre-loved baby essentials for families in Bristol experiencing poverty or crisis.
Baby Bank Network redistributes baby items like clothes, slings and cots that have been used and loved by parents, but are no longer needed, to parents who cannot afford to buy these items new or second hand. Reusing items saves money and is environmentally friendly.
Why the community needs us
Baby Bank Network's aim is to relieve poverty in the Bristol area by providing good quality new and pre-owned baby items to families in need, working closely with agencies such as health visitors and children's centres. As well as an improved living environment, these measures will reduce the financial burden on the families, leading to a subsequent improvement in their mental well-being and an increased ability to focus on other aspects of home life.
Our impact on the community
Since we began in 2015 we have supported more than 10,000 families across Bristol with essentials for their children up to 5 years old. We recently received this touching feedback from one of our referral partners: "I was absolutely amazed at the quality, quantity and range of baby goods provided. I know that Baby Bank has made an immense difference to the mum, to her pregnancy and the arrival of her baby girl."
