The South Derbyshire Mental Health Association charity will be closing on 31st August 2022.
The decision to close has not been taken lightly but is necessary due to the lack of funding to support the drop in centre we’ve provided for many years.
South Derbyshire CVS have committed to providing a 1-2-1 Mental Health support and advocacy service for people across the district as well as supporting a limited drop-in service and our staff therefore has been transferred to them. As part of their strategy to deliver health and wellbeing services, the CVS hope to build the level of mental health support they can offer in the coming years.
We’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you very much for supporting us. If you would like to, we invite you to continue to support our staff in providing a mental health service, by donating instead to South Derbyshire CVS: here.
Your donations have allowed us to transfer our team to continue their work.
