Bath Carnival is a non-profit organisation delivering an annual community project for children, young people & adults living in B&NES. We provide free workshops in costume making, music, puppetry, theatre and dance to schools, local charities and and community groups. The annual Bath Carnival project culminates in a free outdoor event in the heart of Bath celebrating the diversity of B&NES with workshop participants performing in a huge colourful carnival procession and free festival in a park.

In 2024 we are also supporting Bath's lantern parade in the heart of the city centre and the second Twert Lush event in along Twerton High Street. Both events are supporting low income families, children and young people to take part in creative activities and showcase their talents in front of the local community.

The fight to keep carnival alive...

Funding to organise community events such as Bath Carnival is increasingly difficult to access. This year’s the organisers have managed to raise over £100,000 to deliver the free day of performances and activities. To keep this special community project alive in 2025 the fundraising campaign starts now. Supporters are invited to make a donation, no matter how small to the cause via this LocalGiving page, whilst businesses can email for sponsorship enquiries. Those interested in collecting donations on the day can signup here:
