Behaviour Support Hub (Previously Challenging Behaviour Support) is a parent-led registered charity providing early intervention and long-term support for parent carers of children with challenging behaviour.
No diagnosis is needed to access support, which is inclusive of all additional needs such as: Autism Spectrum Disorder; Attention Defect Hyperactivity Disorder; Learning difficulties; Anxiety and other mental health conditions.
Behaviour Support Hub offers a range of support initiatives for parents and teachers, including Training, 1:1 Sessions, Peer Group Support Sessions, Parental well-being, Closed Facebook 24/7 Support & a Specialist Library of books and resources.
Our peer group support meetings offer a crucial sharing experience for parents under stress. It brings parents together to receive advice, support and information relevant to the family, as well as providing parents a safe place to vent, form friendships and to offer mutual encouragement. These regular meetings develop a sense of belonging in a world that often unfairly stigmatizes parents of children with additional needs.
We offer tailored one to one support sessions for parents and these sessions provide parents with empathy, knowledge, understanding and skills in a safe space along with advice and guidance. We have extensive experience of the practical and emotional challenges of educational issues for parents of children with additional needs. We can help broker a more positive outcome with schools, support agencies and help parents to develop coping strategies and build emotional resilience.
Thank you for your support and helping us to help families in need.
