Feeding the hungry in Swindon

Big Breakfast Plus provides a choice of a cooked breakfast together with cereals, toast and marmalade plus unlimited hot drinks. We are open seven mornings a week from 7.30am - 9am at the Pilgrim Centre café in Regents Circus.

Why the community needs us.
We do more than just cook breakfast (and offer a choice of menu). We provide a safe and informal environment for those at risk of homelessness or affected by the cost-of-living crisis and/or food poverty. Our volunteers offer a choice of breakfast and waiter service to all who come to us.

Our impact on the community
We welcome 80+ guests to breakfast each morning as we continue to raise much needed funds to maintain our daily breakfast service. The local housing officers have stressed the importance of the provision for those vulnerable people who are living chaotic lives. Big Breakfast Plus is part of the community providing simple hospitality and therefore providing a steppingstone to a better life.

Volunteers needed

Our volunteers provide a friendly non-judgmental breakfast service helping with the cooking; serving breakfasts; making coffees and teas; washing up and cleaning up after the service. Hours: 7am - 9.30am any days. Full induction and training provided.
