The Trust provides support for those who find it difficult to follow their artistic pursuits.
The amazing thing about the Trust work is that it keeps uncovering apparently little personal stories in the world of the arts, which when addressed, open up new possibilities for many people, as the 'Tablet Ocarina Project etc' page shows on our website www.blueflashmusictrust.org.uk. The Trust will be working alongside the Butterfly Project in Horsham plus HackHorsham, Rebel Makers and Coda Club; our partners over the last two years to develop new beginnings in our locality.
Why the community needs usOn 'Tablet Ocarina Project etc' page there is also the story of John who had never been able to speak, and who showed his love of music by pretending to strum having taken part in a music session. The Trust sponsored an exhibition for Sue to show that she had overcome the effect of losing the entire use of her left side, after an operation, and had taught herself to paint with her right hand, having always been left handed. Kevin was pleased to be photographed playing the piano in the mall.
Our impact on the communityThere are two projects the Trust is promoting about which there are details on this website and the Trust website;www.blueflashmusictrust.org.uk. They are the Tablet Ocarina Project and the Blue Plaque Project.
