Calderdale British Muslim Association (BMA) was set up to improve the life of disadvantaged BME communities of calderdale. BMA enables and empowers BME elders,young people,women and young girls groups,carers and their families. BMA explores innovative ways working effectively with all sectors to influence service delivery and good practice. BMA works with BME communities so they can become successful learners,confident individuals,effective contributors and responsible citizens.

Calderdale British Mulsim Association(BMA) helps disadvantaged and disengaged people from the minority communities.We work with those who are or may be at risk of exclusion from education,employment,good health,social networks or training opportunities. Calderdale British Muslim Association works with BME communities to to improve their health and well-being preventing or delaying the need for higher intensity and more costly care. We also offer one stop access point for the BME communities.

Calderdale British Muslim Association has been successful contributor to the older peoples strategy group,Stroke Association,NHS Cancer Publicity Programmes,Calderdale Adult Social Services & Calderdale Adult learners. We have also helped many individuals and community groups to take part in positive and effive consultations and community engagemments. which have helped service providers focus their services delivery and enhance quality of life for disadvantaged communities.
