Our mission is to assist in the process of moral, cultural, mental and physical development of young people, so as to ensure a smooth transition into adult life.
Why the community needs us
BGC Wales is a National Youth Work Charity supporting 130 affiliated youth and sports clubs all over Wales who in turn support over 30,000 young people.
We provide support for our clubs in training, safeguarding, sports leadership, income generation and sustainability.
We also have specialisms in international travel and exchanges for young people in order to support our clubs to take young people away on, in many cases, life-changing experiences.
We offer opportunities for young people in sport with International opportunities in Rugby, Football, Boxing, cross-country and more.
Our impact on the community
We work to support our member clubs and the young people they work with to offer more opportunities and experiences that they may not have otherwise. Youth work builds confidence, skills and readiness for life!
