We promote the participation of the whole community in the sport of rugby football.
Our sport helps and encourages young people to adopt a healthy lifestyle and build life skills. We run three senior teams and have more than 150 players (boys and girls) in our junior section. We're preserving what's special (not only do we have the one playing field in the vicinity of Brackley dedicated solely to rugby football, we also have one of only three sets of floodlights in the town available for community use) and ensuring the long-term health of rugby football at all age levels.
Why the community needs usOur clubhouse and ground are used during the week by community groups such as junior association football, fitness clubs, district farmers and so on. We also host events for local junior schools seeking to participate in rugby football. The clubhouse is available to hire for wedding receptions and other special occasions. In the summer, the community groups and clubhouse hirers stage some of their activities outdoors; our extensive patio in front of the clubhouse is a favourite area for them.
Our impact on the community
We have a wide range of volunteer opportunities, ranging from coaching to feeding the players to fund raising - and more.
