The Board of Trustees of Futures Health Hub are totally committed to the ethos and development of
"social prescribing", community health & wellbeing. physical and mental health programmes and health & educational facilities.
The organisational purposes and objectives are:-
- The advancement of health & health inequalities which will ensure that individuals, families and communities are able to access health services which will help them have a quality of life enabling them to reach their full potential.
- The provision of recreational facilities or the organisational of recreational activities, with the objective of improving the conditions of life for all the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended.
- The advancement of citizenship or community development.
- The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disability.
- Enhance and support the elderly, infirm and vulnerable who are fragile and isolated.Brighter Futures Health Hub offers peripatetic pop-up health pods, social activities, complimentary & alternative therapies, personal development, interactive workshops, one to one health consultations and themed educational events.
These will be offered in community use buildings throughout Glenrothes, village halls, community centres, places of worship, schools, residential homes for young people, care homes for the elderly, sheltered housing, assisted living facilities, colleges, specialist agencies, voluntary sector and the public and private sector.
Brighter Futures Health Hub is totally focused to the need of developing a shared commitment to fairness and to continue to promote methods of joint working and understanding.
