BYDP aims to promote the benefit of young people aged 8-30 years within the Bradford Metropolitan District,especially but not exclusively by development & managing youth initiatives which will enhance the development of young people by working with & developing multi-agency&partnership approaches which assist young people to participate fully in the life of the district & establishing projects which will enable the citizens of the area to gain a greater understanding of the needs of young people

BYDP work with young people in informal settings to provide them with education in subjects such as sexual health, drug awareness, personal development, anger management, bullying and many more. BYDP offer training to volunteers and workers from other organisations in the youth work field. BYDP provide students from Schools, Colleges and Universities with work placements to help them gain knowledge and learning whilst on the job.

BYDP have worked with young people in Bradford and the Surrounding area for over 10 years and have a high success rate for delivering projects and achieving their full outcomes.BYDP are innovative in developing and delivering projects and tackling subjects which are in high demand from the local communities. A lot of the young people that BYDP have contact with, remain close to BYDP and get involved in a lot of different activities and projects.
