At Camphill Clanabogan, we live and work together. Our mission is to create a healthy, creative life style combined with the principles of sustainable biodiversity to enable us to thrive as a community. We are a living and working community where people with and without learning disabilities may reach their full potential in the spirit of lifelong learning. We want to see a world where each person is appreciated and accepted for their unique abilities.
Why the community needs usAt Camphill Clanabogan we strive to create a community that is both supportive and empowering to all. Our goal is to provide a strong centre where residents can gain self-confidence, personal independence and a sense of worth, within a safe and enabling community environment. We wish to support them in leading as independent a life as they are able within the context of the wider community.
Our impact on the communityWe recognise the uniqueness of each individual within our community and encourage each person to realise their own potential. We aim to provide life long learning opportunities, both from within and outside of our community. Through our farm, bakery, garden, herb workshop, weavery, woodwork and ceramic workshop residents and volunteers alike find purpose in life through meaningful work.
