Cancer Support Scotland offers one to one Talking Therapy (counselling) and Complementary Therapies to people affected by cancer including family and friends, before, during and after treatment. We also bring people together in community support groups to discuss their feelings and anxieties when faced with a cancer diagnosis. We offer our services free of charge and rely on donations and legacies from the public to allow us to continue to support the people who need it most.
Why the community needs usFrom our site in the grounds of Gartnavel we offer a warm, friendly place where anyone affected by cancer can come for one of our extensive range of Complementary Therapies and Talking Therapies (Counselling). All of our therapists and counsellors are experienced in working with people who are affected by cancer. We also work in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support and Glasgow Life at their sites in Renfrew and Easterhouse, where we provide Talking Therapies and Complementary Therapies.
