We are part of the national In Bloom movement. We are a community gardening group working together improve our environment through promoting horticultural achievement, environmental responsibility and community involvement.

Promotes cleaner and greener surroundings; brings people together united under a common cause; creates safer environments for the enjoyment of all; addresses issues such as sustainability, resource management, conservation, litter, & graffiti; reduces anti-social behaviour; positive effect on the local economy such as increased commercial enterprise and tourism; regenerates run down and/or disadvantaged areas & improves health and wellbeing of all.

Cannington in Bloom achieved a Gold award in South West in Bloom 2016 'Champion of Champions'. We also received six 'outstanding' certificates for 'It's Your Neighborhood'. We were invited to take part in the national competition in 2017 and we were proud to receive a silver gilt. In 2018 we took a break from the completion, continued our work around the village. We are returning to the competition in 2019 and we need your support!
