Marathon for Maerdy Youth!

On June 11th our Youth Leader will be running her first (and probably her last!) half marathon in aid of Maerdy Youth. As one of only two youth providers serving the young people of the Upper Amman Valley, Maerdy Youth offers a safe and supportive environment in which to socialise, grow and develop. As well as a varied programme of activities across three sessions every week, Maerdy Youth offers regular trips- and all at no cost to the young people or their families. As a charity, we rely on grant funding and the goodwill of our local community to keep the service running- so Heledd is putting one foot in front of the other to raise some much-needed funds for our young people! Volunteer opportunities are flexible and varied. We also particularly need to expand our Board of Trustees and are seeking professionals living locallywith financial, social business, marketing, HR, Health & Safety, ICT, legal and fundraising acumen
