Imagine you had just suffered a heart attack, undergone heart surgery or have heart failure but there was no support in your medium and long term recovery....Cardiac Rehab provides just that. Through 20 community classes around the North Gwent area we are working alongside cardiac patients, coaching them through specialised exercise regimes, providing dietary information and much needed emotional support to ensure they make a full recovery without experiencing further cardiac events.

Our community classes provide not only vital support to patients regarding their medical needs but also create safe and welcoming environments for patients to bond over shared experiences, to make new friends who understand the devastation that can be caused by cardiac events and to give reassurance that the journey to recovery is no more than few simple steps.

From working with us, our patients can reduce their chances of experiencing further cardiac events, will develop positive relationships with fellow patients,will understand the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle and be fully equipped to implement what they have learned into their everyday lives.
