The Carroll Centre is a community anchor organisation and a registered charity that has been supporting children, young people families and the community since 1992. The centre provides services and activities that promote learning and personal development, build self esteem, foster creativity, raise aspirations, enhance life chances and reduce social isolation and inequality.

Why the community needs us
The centre is a community hub located in an area of need, many of our service users are from low income/unwaged households and are vulnerable. We provide a supportive environment that offers a Community Food Pantry, social and leisure facilities, children and youth support services, early years education, family support, training and mentoring.

Our impact on the community
Our services promote positive life outcomes, promote positive health and wellbeing, reduce social isolation and inequality and promote community interaction.

Volunteers needed

We are looking for volunteers of any age and ability to train to work in our Community Food Pantry, Café, Softplay Facility, community projects & childcare projects. Training and support is provided. We also need volunteers with experience in marketing and event promotions and trustees for our Board.
