Why the community needs us

The unique work that our group do, benefits the whole community who visit the beaches at Chalkwell, and surrounding areas. By providing a rescue service we make a difference by giving advice and rescuing those who need rescuing. Due to the tides and currents at the location it can become dangerous for those people who are visitors to the area.

Our impact on the community

We have recently had an incident in the summer where 2 girls nearly drowned if it hadnt had been for the groups links with the Coastguard the outcome may have been different. We also provide training to youngsters, and this then enables them to use their skills to save lives.
