1st Charmouth Scout Group provides a challenging programme of activities for Beavers, Cubs & Scouts
To contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities
Why the community needs usA recent survey showed that 88% of our young people said that Scouting helps them improve their key skills, including social skills, teamwork ability, leadership ability and confidence.
Our impact on the community95% of our volunteers said that Scouting helped them improve their physical skills, including the improved ability to cope with outdoor conditions
We are always looking for adults who want to help young people fulfill their potential by delivering a challenging programme of activities. At present, we are looking for two new Cub Leaders to work with our 15 Cubs aged between 8 & 10. They would be supported by other Leaders in the Group and by a 5-strong parent rota.
