We work locally and internationally to shape a world where all children have access to the people, experiences, services and opportunities that enable their early childhood development and learning.
Why the community needs us"Over one-third of the world's children under 5 FAIL to develop their full potential" and we don't think this is acceptable! Imagine that 10 children out of a UK standard primary school class of 30 wouldn't have the chance to reach their full potential? That we are missing out on 1/3 of the world's brain power! Imagine all the missing doctors, teachers and authors? When we put it like that its unimaginable right? So we need to act now. We aim to support anyone working for Children's futures.
Our impact on the communityWe provide high quality and affordable training to early years practitioners, teachers, parents and families, family support services, social workers and students on the importance of early childhood development and all the exciting opportunities children have when their adults are supporting them. We work with local authorities and other organisations to provide emergency clothing and food hampers (at Christmas) for vulnerable families. Internationally we are developing training in Kenya.
We are looking for volunteers to help us grow our charity. People to help us with grant applications, fundraising, social media and marketing. Ideal for volunteers who have time during the week to come to our office and work on projects with us.
