Choir on the Green Concert for Open Door and Chiltern Music Therapy

Open Door and Chiltern Music Therapy are delighted to be the recipients of Choir on the Green's Christmas Concert this year!

Thank you for attending the concert this evening and making a donation to these organisations.

As local organisations, both Open Door and Chiltern Music Therapy are working hard to keep people in the community connected in person, through their work in Berkhamsted, Chesham and the surrounding areas.

Open Door and Chiltern Music Therapy hope to work together in 2023, connecting their warm space, community music and community pantry together!

Open Door is community space, cafe and designated warm space for Berkhamsted. All donations will go towards the running costs for our building, and activities to support everyone in our community, including our Community Pantry and other services.

Chiltern Music Therapy provides Music Therapy and Community Music services in schools, care homes, hospitals and the community, to people of all ages, including:

the dementia-friendly Silver Singers in Chesham and Aylesbury,
the Let's Sing group, which meets online, and is open to anyone with additional needs.
the Jammin' Group, in High Wycombe, open to anyone who is currently accessing or has previously accessed mental health services
the UK-first online Aphasia Group, designed for those who have had a stroke, but is also suitable for anyone with apraxia of speech or those with an acquired brain injury.
