The Partnership aims to engage all sectors of the community and reach out to every Christchurch resident in need, building local pride and community esteem that will benefit both personal well-being and the success of local charitable, business and statutory organizations. It hopes to achieve this by - Strengthening the network of local voluntary agencies.- Initiating and supporting a wide range of community projects.- Inspiring volunteers to take part in the delivery of community activities.

Why the community needs us
The CCP continues to deliver key projects; Christchurch Angels, Neighbour Cars & Dial-a-Bus which are integrated to offer our clients a more holistic network of support. The Community Forum draws together a cross section of local public, private and charitable agencies to tackle gaps in social provision.

Our impact on the community
Outcomes tackle 3 independent but integrated strategies - Isolation, Transport and Homelessness. The Angels provide assistance on a short term basis, to a person often in crisis. Meeting others on the Dial-A-Bus or joining in for a meal at the one of the Meal Card cafes all helps to combat social 'isolation' - as does the weekly 'community lunch' at one of the participating cafes. The Helpful Neighbour scheme will contribute to the social engagement of those living in isolation.
