Christ Church provides services in the Stamford area to support the neediest and most vulnerable of all ages in the local community, through social outreach projects. In addition to the Priest-in-Charge, there are 6 part-time staff, helped by nearly 200 volunteers. This work is funded and supported by the church family, the nearby community, local commerce and businesses, and various trusts, and is carried out in close partnership with many other organizations in and around the town.

For the local community, Christ Church aims to be a "Place to Belong". The social programmes and outreach activities are all firmly established and well used, and one of the programmes was recently voted as the most popular community programme of the year in the local area.
