Clyne Valley Community Project started over ten years ago, to help look after Clyne Valley. It is a Country Park full of history, archaeological and industrial heritage. It is also home to a great variety of wildlife, with flora, fauna and funga in abundance, although some of it is quite rare.
It is an area much loved by local residents, and discovered by many more during the time of lock-down and restrictions on what we could do. The joy of being in nature has been found to benefit wellbeing and mental health as well as physical health. The bird song is a particular feature of Clyne Valley.
To help connect more people with nature, and enhance the benefits of being in the Valley, we are running some 'Colour in Clyne' events in and around the new shelter at Ynys Newydd. There will be guided painting and  drawing sessions during May and June. Later there will be pond dipping for all ages. 
To be accessible for all, these events will be free of charge, financed by a 'Magic Little Grant' from the Postcode Community Trust. But we are seeking donations, so that we can continue to offer activities and reach more people. Please consider if you are able to support us. Thank you.
