Coach Hene Sports Club is a community football coaching project founded in 2021 & based in Openshaw providing football development sessions at Sporting Edge Leisure Centre. As a community scheme and a registered charity, we are giving back to the local community by getting children active and reaching the local people of Greater Manchester through this project. We believe that sports, including football, are becoming too expensive and we have a simple mission: To Make Sports Affordable For All.
We offer affordable training sessions and reach out to people from ethnic minority communities, in the areas of Tameside & Manchester. The costs are minimal to a player, and even cheaper for families with multiple attendees. We currently have over 300 registered active members, with over 125 members per session on a weekly basis since May-21.
Your support will be utilised to further subsidise the current training sessions, which directly links to our mission; making football more affordable for all. Your support will provide the opportunity to replace training equipment, pay for facility costs, training equipment and gear and support the possibility of holding an end of season presentation for all the kids and parents involved with the club.
