AIMHS (Actively Inflencing Mental Health Services)exists to enable people who experience mental health issues to have a voice to influence, develop and improve mental health services.

We work with people who have experienced mental health problems to influence and improve mental health services within Coventry and Warwickshire. We also work closely with our members to enable them to intergrate within the local community and we strive to develop their skills and knowledge to enable them to play a meaningful role within the mental health community and the wider communities within which they live.

Our work empowers those who traditionally have been discriminated against and not given a voice to build their confidence and learn skills to enable them to make their views known. Our members develop greater levels of independence within society, reducing their reliance on mental health services. We also develop their training and interview skills to enable them to take part in service user led training and to train others.
