The Craneworks Team are working toward an exciting and world class Centre of Invention in the World Heritage City of Bath. It will bring together many great creative companies and individuals in beautiful heritage surroundings and have spaces for working, conferences, film and digital media creation and exhibition, high and low tech making and a great place to gather to eat and drink. We are building it for all of Bath and upon a wonderful heritage toward a beautifully inventive future.

Bath needs a permanent home and focal point for the many creative people and businesses that underpin the economy and make Bath such an exciting and vibrant place. We believe that by embracing business, technology, art, film, design, and making and building an exceptional place for them to work and create together we will make Bath an even more exciting place to live and work. Craneworks is by and for all the people of Bath and the area and will include a great learning program for all ages.

Craneworks will create space for over 400 new jobs in Bath and add £25 million pounds per year to the local economy. It will bring together all the ingredients needed to build on Baths success in creative and technology businesses, arts and culture. By adding publicly accessible making and exhibition spaces we allow the entire community to participate and learn, leading to new opportunities for all ages. We will also save a wonderful heritage building and make it open to the public.
